What is I-BAC

I-BAC (Aichi-Nagoya International Business Access Center) is an organization jointly established by the Aichi Prefectural Government, the City of Nagoya, the Nagoya Port Authority and the Nagoya Chamber of Commerce & Industry. The focus of I-BAC is to support foreign companies desiring to enter the Aichi-Nagoya region or to expand their business operations there. To facilitate these efforts, I-BAC offers free "one stop" services including giving information, consultation and advice.

 

I-BAC offers a wide variety of information and consulting services, including

(1) Information on the Aichi-Nagoya region

(2) Consulting services for potential business partners

(3) Incentive measures available (tax reductions, subsidies etc.)

(4) Information on office space and industrial land available for production facilities

(5) Information on transportation infrastructure
(airport, seaport, railroads, expressways etc.)

(6) Information on human resources

(7) Information on housing, education, medical services and other amenities

(8) Assistance with administrative procedures involved in obtaining permits and approvals for business start-up

(9) Introduction of professional and supporting businesses
(real-estate offices, translation agencies, temporary personnel services etc.)
